I’m Matt Davidson, a Portland, Oregon-based graphic designer who specializes in apparel graphics through the use of illustration and typography. My journey into design springs from a start in illustration, having trained under former Marvel and Dark Horse Comics artist Randy Emberlin, as well as a childhood spent redrawing band logos by hand, having always been interested in the creative use of letterforms.

Much of my recent work is focused in the beer industry, but notable brands I have worked with include Deschutes, Malört, and Leatherman. Despite this emphasis, I am fascinated with all facets of design and continually strive to expand my skillset to meet the needs of the project.

In my downtime my hobbies include catching up on the latest music, spending time with my cat Cali, and following other creative outlets and pursuits through personal projects and artwork.
